On Wed, May 30, 2018, at about 1:55 am Oregon State Police Troopers were dispatched to a report of a crash on I-5 NB, near Exit 35.
A preliminary investigation showed a white 1992 Ford Ranger Pickup was traveling NB, at a high rate of speed, when it drove onto the right shoulder along the Exit 35 off-ramp. The vehicle traveled on the gravel shoulder before rolling. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver will not be identified until next of kin are notified.
The northbound exit 35 off-ramp was closed for approximately 3 hours.
