Man Arrested after Striking Man with Gun

Just after 2:30pm Friday afternoon, October 23rd, the Grants Pass Department of Public Safety received a 911 call from the Home Depot, located on NE Mill Street after an employee had a firearm pointed at them, while being threatened by a male customer.

28 year old, Parker Lever

The male suspect, later identified as 28 year old, Parker Lever of Medford, reportedly struck the employee with the pistol during the incident before fleeing the location in a vehicle with a license plate and description obtained.

The responding Grants Pass Department of Public Safety police units found the vehicle a short distance away and were able to safely take the suspect into custody.

Parker Lever was lodged at the Josephine County Jail on multiple charges including Attempted Assault in the Second Degree, Menacing, and Unlawful use of a Weapon.
