At approximately 7:00 PM Monday evening September 25th, emergency personnel were dispatched to Mill Beach in Brookings Oregon after an individual had reportedly fallen from rocks.
Emergency crews recovered the male individual with the assistance of the Coast Guard helicopter after a lengthy and difficult search and rescue operation.
Rescue personnel were unable to resuscitate the individual who was later unfortunately pronounced dead at the scene by officials.
