Mostly Clear Skies and Warm Afternoons Forecast for Holiday Weekend

An upper level low, circulating up from southwest will bring the possibility of thunderstorms, mainly to the east over the holiday weekend. Otherwise, southwestern Oregon and northern California will see mostly clear skies and warm afternoon temperatures.

Inland areas are forecast to see mostly clear skies with little to no wind from a northwesterly breeze and slight chance for afternoon thunderstorms late Sunday. Morning lows will range from the mid to upper 40’s to low 50’s, while afternoon highs will get to the upper 80’s.

Along the coast, areas of localized fog is forecast to start the weekend, remaining cloudy through the morning hours. Gradual clearing will lead to partly cloudy afternoon skies with a slight breeze possible. Lows will only get down to upper 40’s, with afternoon highs in the upper 60’s, possibly getting to the low 70’s in some areas.
