New Front Forecast to Bring Precipitation to Much of the Area

A frontal system is forecast to enter into the region on Thursday, with locally heavy rainfall possible along coastal regions of northern California and Oregon coastal areas with snow possible on higher elevation interior passes.  

Periods of rain are expected from Thursday through Saturday morning with much of the rain in southern regions of the forecast area being light and intermittent, however, some locally heavier rainfall is possible near the Oregon border and north as Friday progresses. Low temperatures are forecast to be in the mid 40’s, with highs in the low to mid 60’s and possibly reaching the low 70’s inland.
