Looking for a Halloween haunt? Explore the Oregon Caves by the flicker of Candle Light.
This kid-friendly Haunted Candlelight Tour will be offered Saturday, October 28 at 10 AM – 4 PM.
These eerie tours will traverse the historic route of the Oregon Caves. With lantern in hand, you will be guided through the mysterious darkness that lies within the Siskiyou Mountains. Follow the River Styx into the damp heavy murk towards an unknown end be it Hades or the light of day once again. Let the myths and tales of times gone by haunt you while you wander through the ancient marble halls. As your imagination takes hold, you will be left with the lingering question, what really lies beneath?
These tours are family friendly with an age restriction of 10 years and up and a minimum height of 42″ for children. Costumes are welcome but glitter, excessively large costumes, and capes are not permitted. Reservations are strongly recommended and are available on recreation.gov or toll-free at 1 (877) 444-6777. There will be limited same-day first-come first-serve tours. Only two non-haunted Discovery Tours will be available. Cost is $10 for seniors and adults and $7 for those 10-15 years old.
