Oregon Sees Fall in New Cases in Past Week

With multiple weeks of civil unrest and some areas of the state moving into phase-2 re-opening in the last six days Oregon has new cases per day has slowed considerably, with every one of those days in the past week below 100 new COVID-19 cases as of Friday June 26th.

Curry County has reported testing 649 individuals, with 642 negative tests, 7 total positive cases of COVID-19 as of Friday morning June 26th.

Del Norte County Department of Health and Human Services reported testing 2,466 individuals with 1 active cases in Del Norte County as of Friday morning June 25th and now sits at 49 total cases in Del Norte County.

Humboldt County to the south of Del Norte County reports testing 8,458 individuals with 127 total cases, 18 active cases, 105 recoveries and 4 deaths adding 19 new cases in the last week.

Coos County to the north, reported testing 2,418 individuals with 2,384 negative tests, and recorded 7 new confirmed cases this past week, adding their total to 39.

Josephine County reports testing 3,735 individuals with 3,711 negative results went into the week with 26 total positive cases of COVID-19 adding no new cases, of which 21 are recovered cases, and 1 death.

Jackson County went into the week testing 10,946 individuals with 10,858 negative test results, adding 3 new cases totaling 93 total cases of COVID-19 and 68 recovered cases in the past week.
