An update on the forecast for the week is predicting high pressure along the West Coast that will bring a significant warm-up through Thursday.
Temperatures will be warming up to about 5 degrees above normal possibly reaching daily record highs or just short of record highs by mid-week, then cooling back down closer to daily normal’s by weeks end.
Temperatures will continue to rise into the 80’s for the west side valleys.
The heat will peak Wednesday, then we’ll see temperatures cool down significantly to near normal temperatures on Friday.
