Cooler interior temperatures and breezy conditions are expected today and Friday as a cool air mass moves onshore as the work week ends. A warming trend will kick off this weekend and continue into next week.

A frost advisory is in effect for outlying areas in valleys across Douglas, Josephine and Jackson Counties and early morning temperatures are expected to fall into the mid 30s for most outlying valley areas in Southern Oregon and northern California. After a slight inland cool down, warmer temperatures are expected to return by the weekend with local high temperatures on the coast remaining mild in the upper 60’s, possibly reaching the mid to upper 70’s inland on Sunday.
