Teens Rescued from Cliff

On Friday afternoon, U.S. Coast Guard Sector North Bend helicopter crew was diverted to Roads End Point just north of Lincoln City to assist in the rescue of two stranded hikers.

Two teen males were successfully hoisted and safely delivered to North Lincoln Fire and Rescue at a nearby field.

After North Lincoln Fire and Rescue received a rescue call for two people stuck on a cliff, North Lincoln Fire and Rescue assisted the US Coast Guard in locating the stranded teenagers, who were airlifted to a landing zone near the casino.

No injuries were reported. Many thanks to all supporting agencies.
