Temperatures Predicted to Hit Triple Digits

The US National Weather Service is forecasting strong that high pressure will build over the area Sunday, and a thermal trough near the coast will move over the west side. This will bring very hot temperatures to the area.

Inland high temperatures will generally be in the 90s over the west side, and in the middle 80s to lower 90s east of the Cascades. Highs may reach 100 degrees in the Rogue, Illinois, and Shasta Valleys and may get as high as 106 over the Lower Klamath valley in Siskiyou county.

Monday temperatures are predicted to be much cooler.
