Two Arrested for Armed Robbery at Grants Pass Restaurant and Bar

Just after midnight, Thursday, August 11th, Grants Pass Police were called to the scene of an armed robbery at O’aces. It was determined a suspect armed with a pistol and an accomplice lookout entered the business, demanded money at gunpoint, and fled the scene with cash.

Grants Pass Police Detectives conducted a follow-up investigation with assistance from the public as well as assisting law enforcement partners. The suspects of the robbery were identified as 34 year old Kevin Lee Jones, and 31 year old Michael Ray Spliethof Jr., both of Grants Pass.

On Thursday, August 18th, Grants Pass Police Detectives located and arrested Jones while driving in the City of Rogue River. Shortly after the arrest, Grants Pass Police SWAT and Detectives served a search warrant at the home of Jones and Spliethof, where Spliethof was found and arrested.
