Typical Fall Weather with Possible Showers Forecast for much of the Region

Typical fall weather conditions are forecast throughout much of the region, featuring dry weather to start the work week with a chance of precipitation entering the forecast very late Wednesday as a weak frontal system will impact the north portion of the area, bringing a chance of light rain to northern California and southern Oregon Tuesday night and early Wednesday.

Dry weather with warm interior daytime temperatures are forecast for the interior valleys through Tuesday, with a chance of rain showers Wednesday afternoon. Temperatures are expected to be in the mid to upper 80’s under mostly sunny skies through Tuesday cooling to the mid 70’s Wednesday.

Coastal fog will linger over the coastal waters and portions of the immediate coast with marine layer low clouds expected to burn off by late morning in most areas. A weak frontal system will clip the northern portion of the area, bringing a chance of light rain to Del Norte County Tuesday night and early Wednesday. High temperatures are expected to remain in the upper 50’s, warming slightly later in the work week.
