Vehicle Leaves Roadway Injuring One

Rural Metro Fire, Grants Pass Fire and American Medical Response rescued a driver and her dog, after the vehicle left the road and crashed into trees in the 2400 block of Rogue River Hwy.

Firefighters cut their way through the brush to reach the vehicle, then removed the windshield to extract the occupants.

The driver was transported to Three Rivers Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, and the uninjured dog was taken into the care of a Rural Metro firefighter until family could be located.
