Clear Skies and Much Cooler Temperatures in Weekend Forecast

A new trough has moved over the area as the last low pressure system moves slowly to the east. Cooler temperatures are forecast with winds pushing smoke from north to the south and southeast through the rest of the week.

The weekend forecast for the valley calls for widespread haze to continue under partly cloudy skies through the weekend. Temperatures will be much cooler with highs in the mid 80’s and early morning lows will be in the mid 50’s.  

Forecasts for the coast will be much more of the same. Mostly clear skies will continue to prevail with a northwest wind gusting up to 25 mph in some areas. Temperatures will continue to be warm with forecasts in the 60’s for highs, and lows in the low 50’s.
