As reported last Friday, April 24th, Curry County IT did take systems offline briefly as a precaution in response to a cybersecurity advisory affecting certain Cisco firewall platforms being used nationwide.
This was not due to an active issue within Curry County, but rather a proactive step to validate the Curry County systems environment and apply recommended security updates.
Curry County worked with their vendor to perform full validation, including forensic review, patching, and a controlled reset of firewall systems.
All results came back clean, and no indicators of compromise were identified.
All County systems have since been restored and are operating normally.
