As the high pressure system established of the coast continues to control the weather pattern, it will feel like summer into and through the weekend across the region with temperatures running above normal in interior areas.
Inland areas are forecast to see clear skies and warm temperatures approximately 10-15 degrees above normal into and through the weekend. Afternoon highs will range in the mid 80’s before rising to the low 90’s, with lows forecast to be in the mid to upper 40’s to low 50’s.
Along the coast, some areas will see localized morning fog and marine layer before clear skies and warm temperatures take over. A cooling low pressure system is expected to move into the northwest, cooling temperatures along the coast going into the weekend. Lows are expected to be in the low to mid 50’s, with highs expected to reach the mid to upper 70’s to low 80’s in some areas.
