Mostly Clear Skies and Frigid Temperatures Forecast for Weekend

After a day of relatively clear skies and sunshine, Friday should be much of the same, however, as cold air is pushed down by a front tothe north, temperatures are expected to quickly fall bringing cold morning lows across the region starting Friday morning.

Dense fog and freezing fog is expected to develop across inland valleys early Friday morning. Sunny mostly clear skies are forecast after and if, the dense fog dissipates during afternoon hours. Temperatures across inland areas are expected to be very cold with highs only reaching the upper 40’s and early morning lows dropping into the mid 20’s

Coastal areas are forecast to again be milder than areas further inland, with a slight chance of the bottom edge of a weak frontal system reaching the southern Oregon coast, with some precipitation possible Saturday. Temperatures are expected to be very cool, with lows in the upper 30’s to low 40’s, and highs only getting into the low to mid 50’s.
