As of 12:15pm Sunday afternoon, the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for…Curry County in southwestern Oregon…
Coos County in southwestern Oregon…

* Until 1215 PM PST Monday.

* Additionally, reports from other trained spotters indicate 2 to as much as 5 inches of rain have fallen in Coos and Curry counties in the last 12 hours.

* Some locations that are likely to experience areas of flooding include… Coos Bay, Brookings, Port Orford, North Bend, Coquille, Bandon, Myrtle Point, Lakeside, Powers, Charleston, Humbug Mountain State Park, Harbor, William M. Tugman State Park, Barview, Pistol River, Sixes River Campground, Edson Creek Campground, Bunker Hill, Bear Camp Viewpoint and Langlois.

Additional rainfall amounts of 3 to 7 inches are possible in the warned area. The heaviest rainfall is expected to occur in southern portions of Coos County and all of Curry County.
