Oregon Adds Over 900 New COVID-19 Cases in Last Week

Prior to June, Oregon reported over 100 cases in a single day only once, however, in the last six days Oregon has averaged more than 165 new cases per day, with one of those days crushing the new record of 178 new cases in one day hitting 278 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday June 16th.   

With multiple weeks of civil unrest and some areas of the state moving into phase-2 re-opening, Curry County has reported testing 597 individuals, with 590 negative tests, 7 total positive cases of COVID-19 as of Friday morning June 19th.

Del Norte County Department of Health and Human Services reported testing 2,138 individuals with 1 active cases in Del Norte County as of Friday morning June 19th and now sits at 48 total cases in Del Norte County.

Humboldt County to the south of Del Norte County reports testing 7,673 individuals with 108 total cases, 3 active cases, 101 recoveries and 4 deaths.

Coos County to the north, reported testing 2,174 individuals with 1,858 negative tests, and recorded no new confirmed cases this past week, holding their total to 32.

Josephine County reports testing 3,312 individuals with 2,904 negative results went into the week with 26 total positive cases of COVID-19 of which 20 are recovered cases, and 1 death.

Jackson County went into the week testing 9,743 individuals with 9,661 negative test results, 85 total cases of COVID-19 and 65 recovered cases in the past week.
