Overdose Call Prompts Warrants and Yields a Pound of Meth, 66 grams of Heroin, 21 grams of Fentanyl

The Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received a 911 call  Sunday, March 3rd, regarding a man at a motel in the City of Bandon needing medical attention from an overdose.   

An officer from the Bandon Police Department initially responded to render medical assistance and subsequently contacted the South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team.  

Coos County Sheriff’s Officers and detectives with the South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team responded to the hotel in Bandon before a warrant was applied for and granted to search the hotel room and the suspect’s car, a 2021 Polstar.  

The South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team seized nearly a pound of methamphetamine, 66 grams of heroin, 21 grams of fentanyl, and $13,000 of U.S. Currency during the search.  

Both 52 year old Diana Gonzalezsolis and 40 year old Rogelia S. Espinosa were both arrested on multiple charges including Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Heroin, Unlawful Possession of Fentanyl, Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine, and Unlawful Manufacture of Heroin.  

Both subjects were transported to the Coos County Jail, where they were booked and remain in custody.
