Persistent Rain to Continue Through Mid-Week

A strong low pressure system off the coast is circulating a steady stream of multiple rounds of moisture. Moderate to locally heavy rainfallis forecast for southern Oregon and northern California through Sunday and Monday over to coastal Curry County with possible rainfall totals of 2 to 4 inches expected in coastal Curry County and nearby mountain ranges.

Inland areas are forecast to have showers continue through Monday with possible thunderstorms Monday evening and localized heavy fog very early Tuesday morning with rain picking up again late Tuesday continuing through mid-week Temperatures will not be as cold with lows in the mid 40’s and highs in the mid to upper 50’s.


Coastal areas, moderate precipitation is forecast to continue through mid-week with the possibility of thunderstorms. Temperatures will continue to be warm with snow levels only at the highest elevations with lows in the upper 40’s, and highs in the mid 50’s to low 60’s consistently through the week.
