A strong storm system will continue to bring strong winds, locally heavy rain, flooding, interior snowfall, and rough surf conditions along coastal locations through Saturday. Holiday travel may be impacted by hazardous conditions.

Over the Pacific Northwest, a series of storm systems will bring a continued threat for heavy rain, winds, and mountain snowfall into next week.

The National Weather Service has issued another High Surf Advisory in effect from 10:00 pm Saturday to 10:00 pm Sunday night.

A heavy long-period west swell will produce breaking waves of 20 to 25 feet Saturday evening through Sunday evening.

Some of the highest tides of the year will be occurring and this will cause waves to run up higher on beaches than other High Surf Advisory swells. The highest tide is expected at 12:00 pm Sunday.
