On Wednesday night, Del Norte Ambulance, Klamath, Crescent and Cal Fire with CHP and the Del Norte Sheriff Office responded to a report of semi-truck that had left US Hwy 101 near Trees of Mystery.
When first responders arrived on the scene they discovered the semi off the road down an embankment and on its side.
Rescue personnel spent over 2 hours extricating the driver who was successfully extracted and transported to Sutter Coast Hospital in Crescent City.
