A series of four earthquakes rattled the northwest coast Friday, May 9th.
Three of the quakes were relatively small, with a 2.5 just over 100 miles west of Port Orford, a 2.6 approximately 12 miles west of Eureka and another 2.5 magnitude quake 50 miles south of Eureka.
Another larger, 4.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the northern California coast, 60 miles west southwest of Crescent City just before 10:00pm Friday evening.
No Tsunami’s or Tsunami warnings were generated or issued regarding these quakes.
