The current weather pattern of clear skies, mild daily temperatures and cool nights will continue over the weekend and through Monday.

Brookings:

A change will start Tuesday afternoon with partly sunny skies, and temperatures of 59 degrees into the evening. Clouds are expected to accumulate as the day goes on bringing a chance of rain Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, rain is likely with a high of 54 degrees. Rain is likely to continue into Wednesday night.

Thursday, Thanksgiving day, will be rainy and cloudy with a high of 54 and is expected to continue through Firday.

Rain will likely arrive at the coast Tuesday night, then could spread inland across much of the remainder of the area Wednesday into Thanksgiving Day.

There could also be snow in the mountains. It’s been a while since we’ve seen significant precipitation across SW Oregon and northern California and, as of now, details with respect to when, how much and snow levels are uncertain. So, if you’re traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday, keep checking back for updates and at least make plans for potential incoming inclement weather.

An Air Stagnation warning has been issued by the National Weather Service through Monday night. Due to smoke from the California areas, an air stagnation advisory has been put into effect due to limited movement of an airmass across the advisory area. Pollutants may be trapped near ground level, resulting in reduced air quality at times.
