Culmination of 6 Week Drug Investigation Results in Seizure of 148 Pounds of Meth, 6 Kilos of Cocaine, Cash, Weapons and 4 Arrests

On Friday, April 10th, multiple agencies including members of the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement team, the Oregon State Police, the DEA, the California Highway Patrol, and many other local partners, recently executed residential search warrants in Wolf Creek, Oregon, and Corning, California.

On Wednesday, April 8th, the investigation led to a traffic stop on 39 year old Marshall Clifford De La Garza, who was found to be transporting approximately 90 pounds of methamphetamine destined for Josephine County, Oregon, from Corning, California.

The investigation and execution of three residential search warrants in Wolf Creek, Oregon, approximately 50 miles north of Medford, and one search warrant in Corning, California, approximately 20 miles south of Red Bluff, led to the seizure of 148 pounds of meth, 6 kilograms of cocaine, $227,752, a stolen pistol, a revolver, a hunting rifle, and a MAC-10–style machine gun and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

The culmination of the six week long drug investigation resulted in the arrest of four people identified as 43 year old Johnny Dean Davis Jr., 44 year old Daniel Cody Green, 56 year old Stephen Ray Higgins and 39 year old Marshall Clifford De La Garza. Davis, Green, and Higgins were all lodged at the Josephine County Jail and charged with multiple crimes, including racketeering, delivery of methamphetamine, and possession of methamphetamine.
