Multiple agencies including Illinois Valley Fire, and Grants Pass Fire departments were dispatched to a reported 2-alarm fire on Jerome Prairie Road just outside of Grants Pass.
First arriving units arrived to a fully-involved shop used as an automotive repair business. Two vehicles inside, along with miscellaneous tools and equipment, were lost to the blaze, however, several vehicles parked outside were pushed away from the building and escaped serious damage.
The main house was not damaged, and there were no reported injuries. The fire remains under investigation.
