After finishing regular season play with a decisive victory against the Bandon Tigers, the Bruins drew an away game to start their post game journey with a seven hour drive to challenge the #8 ranked Sisters Outlaws, in Sisters, Oregon Wednesday afternoon.
Coach Wallin sent senior right-hander, #7, Lincoln Rosenberg to the mound for the Bruins after the Bruins opened the top half of the first going down in order, and both pitchers did their job in the first, with both retiring the side in order.

In the second inning, both teams put a runner in the bases and worked them around the bags to put a run on the board and take the game into the third tied 1-1.
The Bruins would start the third getting their lead-off on base before battling the Sisters defense to get the runner across the plate to take a 2-1 lead into the second half of the third. But the Sisters offense would respond with some disciplined baseball, sending eight batters to the plate to put up the first crooked numbers on the scoreboard to take a 2-4
The rest of the game would be filled with spectacular infield plays and run down flyballs in the outfield as both teams would go scoreless the rest of the way.
The Bruins would go down in order in the fourth and fifth. But missed opportunities would haunt the Bruins in the sixth and seventh, after the Bruins led off both the sixth with Tucker Delay double and led off the seventh with a Sam Brouillard lead off double, only to leave them stranded, squandering both opportunities late in the game and sending the Sisters Outlaws on the next round with the 4-2 win.
