Three Arrested After Wednesday Morning Cave Junction Bank Robbery

Josephine County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Washington Federal Bank in Cave Junction late Wednesday morning, January 25th, after a 911 call was received at 10:44am regarding a bank robbery.   It was reported, 2 males in white sweatshirts and masks fled on foot from the bank after taking an undisclosed amount of money from a teller.

Two deputies arrived in the area at 10:46am, within 2:00 minutes of the 911 call,  and several witnesses provided a vehicle description and picture to the responding units.

Just before 11:00am, a responding unit located the vehicle on Redwood Hwy. 199 traveling towards Selma. The vehicle was stopped near Gold Canyon and Hwy. 199 was closed for a short time before all three occupants, identified as William Glenn, Patrick Hirt and Carol Evans-West, were taken into custody without incident.  

William Glenn was arrested on charges of Robbery II, Theft III, and a Probation Violation, Patrick Hirt was arrested on charges of Robbery II, Theft III, and Carol Evans-West was arrested and charged with Robbery II, Theft III, and a Probation Violation and lodged at the Josephine County Jail.
