U.S. Coast Guard North Bend performs an Emergency Medevac Off the Oregon Coast

A crew from U.S. Coast Guard North Bend performed an emergency medevac from a cruise ship off the Oregon coast early last week.

After multiple attempts to locate the vessel in dense fog proved unsuccessful, the crew from the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station North Bend to an area of clearer weather.

The patient was hoisted safely off the cruise ship Ruby Princess and successfully transported to emergency medical services back in North Bend.
